Really looking forward to the family drama and funeral prep in PSYCHOPOMP & CIRCUMSTANCE by Eden Royce. Southern gothic always gets me #ewgc

If you're at #ALAAC25 then do not miss tomorrow's panel! Read N Rave will help you spot the hot new titles that you'll want to give to readers in the next six months.

Hoping to get a copy of HOLE IN THE SKY by Daniel H. Wilson, because there are not enough aliens in my life this summer. A Native perspective on first contact was enough to make me smash the request button #ewgc
June 5, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Galley Chatters going to #alaac25 should not miss the #readnrave session! A fabulous panel will talk up their favorite forthcoming books for the season. #ewgc

Looking forward to MIDNIGHT TIMETABLE by Bora Chung. A mysterious Institute with (haunted? cursed?) objects is the subject of these "novel-in-ghost-stories." It's giving Hawkins National Laboratory vibes #ewgc

Learning that I completely missed May's #ewgc by an entire week. Sorry guys, summer reading prep has fried my brains. Anyway I'm reading a fresh newbie, not a galley but great all the same:

Glad @vnesting.bsky.social mentioned A MURDER FOR MISS HORTENSE! Windrush generation + no-nonsense amateur detective is a win for my TBR pile #ewgc

Did some #libraryreads voting today - If you like weird stuff and haven't scored Durbin's The Country Under Heaven yet, what are you doing?

Will come back later tonight for all the awesome new titles! Before I pop off to a middle school library tour, I'll leave you with my other pick: UNWORLD by Jayson Greene. Can AI help us figure out grief and humanity? 🤷‍♀️ Publishers blurb included NEVER LET ME GO so this was inevitable for me #ewgc

hyped for THESE MEMORIES DO NOT BELONG TO US by Yiming Ma. Somehow the concept of Memory Capitalism seems really relevant in today's world #ewgc

Today’s #kidlit read: Questions I Am Asked About the Holocaust by Hédi Fried. Hédi was imprisoned in Auschwitz at age 19, and after liberation focused on the education of the young. This book of most-asked questions is in a very accessible format for older elementary schoolers thru teens.
