It’s wild when you look at FF releases. Between 1987, when FF first came out and 2001, over a 14 year span there were 10 mainline final fantasy games. 3 of them on the PS1 alone. Between 2012 and 2026? 3. And one of them is an MMO that had to be rereleased. 4 if you want to count Lightning Returns.

Wonder if this is in part due to the greater retro tech trend that's been going around. It is incredibly easy to mod 3DS and pirate 3DS games. Wouldn't be surprised if rising game, modern console, and PC part prices played a role too.

Before I left I blocked any racist, TERF, or bigot I ran into, hoping it would improve my experience. Twitter just kept serving them up and it was exhausting. Also, The average user on the site, even without bigotry, became too mean as they were clickbaiting to game the algorithm and make money

Felt the need to share my journal entry today. Don't know why. Here it is, make of it what you will.
November 20, 2025 Started by my day off with a Guru and making my bed. Mental awareness day at my company so I got brunch with Lizzy and had a few drinks. Met up with Develin and we kayaked the river; it was actually pretty dope. Priscilla had never been to a museum so we had to go. Headed to El Paraiso for some drinks and vibes; tacos were scrumptious. We also got a margarita tower? So… yeah. After that I had to take my 4Runner to the shop to get a new tranny. Then I came home and just chilled a little before going to see Bill Maher at the theater; he absolutely bombed. After the show I met up with Lindsay Jacob Ellis and her sister Marmo (sp?) for yet another marg tower. It was so much fun. Then we wind to Rind for their stuffed pineapple which was absolutely to die for, and the snow crab was pretty good too. Brow brow (?) in a square with Jake and Jordan; my friends are the craziest. More drinks then we went to Rose Mary for small bites and somehow we ended up going to medieval times. I don’t know. The rest of the night was kind of a blur. Woke up the next morning and gooned until lunch. Another guru, and a much needed porkchop from the golden nugget. Rosy invited me to go to the Museum of Ice Cream which was actually pretty dope; she’s so precious. Then we got hungry so I made pesto aioli to put on some Italian hoagies. After a couple rounds of Zathura we went to the world’s largest starbucks, then met up with Kenty (sp?) and Marvin at the Museum of Ice Cream which was actually pretty dope. Got a marg tower, then I had a dessert date with Kara at the Museum of Ice Cream, then we got hungry so we grabbed a bite at Wendell’s. Me and Jira had reservations at Highteek for their Alpana then got Lando at Tanta which I highly recommend. I was pretty wiped so then I chilled for a few. Met up with my girlfriend Darla at Legoland then caught a rooftop movie with her friend KP and stopped at Target on the way to Bobobo for drinks and stopped at Target before going to Café-
