The just announced new GoVolta service between Amsterdam and Hamburg would allow for a 2-seat ride from Amsterdam to Stockholm with the sleeper train from Hamburg. I hope the schedule makes it possible without a ridiculous lay-over in Hamburg

Here is a map of all the expansions coming to Schiphol. All still under 1 roof and it would look like a transfer from the H-pier to the A-pier extension would require a 2.4km walk or about 25-30mins of walking.

Submitted by the designer, Hugo, who says: I have always been ashamed of the official transit diagram for the tram system of The Hague [PDF link – Cam]. It’s a weird A4-shaped portrait diagram oriented so that the beach is at the top which is a strange choice as most residents of The Hague would tell you they think the beach is to the West/left.

Not sure how I missed this but Cameron Booth reviewed my redesign of the Den Haag tram diagram on his transitmap.net blog!
Schiphol has put all their expansion plans in one video. Still keeping the 1 terminal design and adding a metro connection to Amsterdam. Interestingly above ground as a terminus station but with trains continuing onward to Hoofddorp kind of like SFO airport.

It’ll connect the city centre with Nieuwegein and IJsselstein faster and enable a car-free neighbourhood south of the centre.

I never knew that the frequency on the Utrecht tram on Sunday is half-hourly...
This is on the branches to Nieuwegein and IJsselstein, so the shared section is 15-minutes, still horrible frequency.
