The book that got me into the battletech universe 30 years ago. Never played the rpg but the Lore section was fascinating for 15 year old me.

Mostly CGL plastics but also 4 3D prints I ordered somewhere. The cone helmet Cyclops is a really crisp print but the others are a bit fuzzy. Hoping some primer will sort that out to a degree.

So a few pictures of mechs I did like 2 years ago. A mix of old goofy plastics and new plastics. Basing still needs some work. But hey. To start out a non-descript Kurita lance.

Anyway as a end of the year present for myself I did order The Battletech Universe sourcebook. Always been a sucker for the fluff and the art (and the maps!).

So on my yearly Battletech binge. Battletech is 40 years old in 2024. My first contact was in 1993 when my school did a hobby fair and one of the stands was about RPG's . No Battletech though but, I remember picking up this flyer which I found intriguing. www.sarna.net/wiki/1993_Up...
