The book that got me into the battletech universe 30 years ago. Never played the rpg but the Lore section was fascinating for 15 year old me.

So a few pictures of mechs I did like 2 years ago. A mix of old goofy plastics and new plastics. Basing still needs some work. But hey. To start out a non-descript Kurita lance.

All the whining about the Battletech KS reminded me why I don't do kickstarters. I'll happily pick up the odd pieces I want later on.

Done with work for the year. Got 2 dozen unpainted Battletech mechs I want to tackle during the holidays. Maybe I'll find some locals that want to play next year?

Just got it. It is glorious.

So on my yearly Battletech binge. Battletech is 40 years old in 2024. My first contact was in 1993 when my school did a hobby fair and one of the stands was about RPG's . No Battletech though but, I remember picking up this flyer which I found intriguing. www.sarna.net/wiki/1993_Up...
