I just have to say for those of you not in LA that in the days before the horrible raids started, there was no crisis or whatever they would let you believe. It wasn't like something was escalating out of control and somebody had to step in. THEY are creating the problems.

Here’s a fantasy trope I hate: when a riddle that was written in some ancient tongue is translated into English and somehow it rhymes. Like did the old ones know English would be a thing? Did the translator do that on the fly for our benefit? Did it even rhyme before???

I hope those “finance gurus” who were spouting that social security is a scam and that people should be allowed to invest that money in the stock market instead are figuring out why social security exists in the first place.
