Coding with AI feels like teaching. You still need to learn before you can teach. Deep understanding of the domain and software quality still matters. But not everyone who enjoys coding will enjoy instructing a machine. It’s a different kind of creativity.

I said I expected to be inspired, and Fast Flow Conf did not disappoint. Great talks all around, kudos to the speakers.
And the closing keynote hitting a point for me as well, moving beyond "enabling team" for architecture. Great day. Also fantastic venue and organization!

In "Foundations of Scalable Systems", Ian Gorton writes, among other things, about relational databases and how it's not uncommon to apply denormalization. Or well, he meant to, but on page 196 they printed something else.. which I'm sorry to hear 😀
