I wonder if we will see frame-generation/upscaling duties separated from GPU into additional hardware. Increasingly big purchase of a new GPU broken up by replacing a cheaper frame-gen component more often as technology improves.

GFreD is absolutely buckwild, as I imagine some of the other GQuuuuuuX kits are (the Zaku felt pretty normal to build). The engineering is unlike anything I've built, it feels like a model kit designed by an alien. Color separation for an HG is ridiculous and some parts are practically microscopic.

I built a lil guy today. Kotobukiya x Maruttoys: Tamotu (Skeleton). I will probably eventually go back and paint more detail on the inner frame, and I am considering hitting the back of the clear parts with a matte top coat 🤔

I finished book 2 of the Malazan Book of the Fallen, and this shit has got me jazzed. I haven't felt this excited to read books since Book of the New Sun, and there's 10 of these fuckers! And then like 15 other books in the same universe... I'm going to be reading these until I'm 40
