anyway being home is funny because i will see things around the house and go dang these are cool pieces of art where did my parents buy these and then i remember i made them and forgot becuase my brain forgets that i made things the second i finish them and cannot recognize them without effort.

even if i don't end up making a single thing, this game of getting your friends together and designing dream clothing for each other is so unbelievably fun in a teenager way and i really recommend it for your next slumber party.

my sketchbook hqs 100% devolved into this by the way it's kind of liberating to have permission to only think about clothes and what seam placement would make my butt look best.

waiting at the gate to leave dublin... what a superbly strange five weeks of my life to nourish my dream hobby while also getting to secretly have my dream job in the evenings.
i do not see myself becoming a master tailor any day soon, but i feel like indulging my curiosity was so worth it.

five weeks in and i have like finally begun to standardize a notation system for myself that makes it easy for me to understand everything. it would be fun to eventually clean it up, color it, tone it, etc.

had extra time in the studio today and my instructor correctly pointed out my weak point is still machining so i just started sewing shapes until i learn how to walk this scary dog. dogs plural. feed dogs. on the sewing machine.

friends are only bullying me playfully for how stupid and predictable my taste is. i am biased towards the classic structured jerkin cut but slutty miqo'te waistcoat is really tempting to try and pattern out.
