The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has filed a brief with the Supreme Court that suggests that trans rights will interfere with religious freedom. My right to exist does not infringe on your right to worship as you please.

My heart is with my friends and family in the Latter-day Saint community. Many people admired President Nelson and his contributions to the faith and may his passing be a reminder for the good things he stood for. I am also heartbroken at the horrific attack in Michigan. Celebrated Constitution Day with the Constitution Party of Box Elder County. This is part of my initiative to build bridges in Northern Utah between those who would normally be opposed. We walked away as friends and are planning to work together on the things we agree on.

It’s crazy to think it has been 24 years. Terrorism and violence should have no place in our world and may we work everyday to influence it towards peace.

It’s stupid that this is even a way I have to think, but I am scared for when my spouse travels without me. Could she be targeted? Would they arrest her and take away the kids? If the government can target people simply by skin color and languages spoke, we are screwed as a society.

I am ending my campaign for Congress in Utah’s 1st Congressional District today. I am thankful for the support that I have been given, but given my commitments to the Box Elder Democratic Party and the LGBTQ+ community in Northern Utah, I need to step back to focus on these efforts. Thank you.

I would definitely not suggest to anyone to go to the DHS website and register for the job fair event in Provo taking away positions from other people and just not show up. That would be bad, we don’t do bad things.

The state party seems to be taking this initiative seriously and the county parties may start getting a different kind of support that benefits the whole state. The priority is to work local and then build the party up from there.
From the snow-capped peaks to the red rocks, Utah Democrats are fighting for every county, every voice, and every vote. 💙

The laws for getting your vote submitted and having it count have changed in Utah!!! This is a big deal!!! It is now too late to safely mail in your ballot, drop boxes are still a safe bet to have your vote count or voting in person.

I got punched in my privilege yesterday. I found out to renew a green card is around $500. Imagine, right now, having to come up with $500 so you don’t get sent to another country. The government’s control over immigration is gross and broken.
