$1.87 per 100 miles difference in CA per their model if you own a hybrid. I drive about 5,000 miles a year. So just under $100 a year savings in CA if I'm following it correctly. $400 if standard gas vs home charge. 🙄

Lower income households have something to complain about but everyone is largely better off. We have a greater percentage of people in the upper income class than ever before - far greater growth than in the lower end:

Yeah there was an S&L fueled bubble that then popped spectacularly taking a lot of banks down with it.

Banking similarly fell apart in second half of 80s thru early 90s thanks to the S&L crisis. Housing unit production fell off similar cliff thx to S&L crisis (cxn finance dried up). Sales prices went up similar following that finance bust fueled production bust.
