We review air purifiers. We buy them and test them under the same conditions to compare their performance. Our tests reveal what manufacturers won’t tell you: https://youtube.com/@housefresh

Hi! We haven’t tested any from this brand - any specific model you’re interested in? We’re building our list of units to test in 2026

Thank you for flagging! We changed sensors this year, so there is a chance that some of the old reviews still show data from the old sensor (PurpleAir Touch) instead of the new sensor (PurpleAir Zen). I’ll go through the pages you mentioned to fix this 😅

If you want to know what Google-Zero is, the Verge did a podcast on it last year referencing @housefresh.bsky.social and other independent website owners about what happens when Google doesn't actually refer viewers to your website, but instead scrapes your content and pushes AI overview and spam.
Google Zero is here — now what?
The old web is dying and the new web struggles to be born.

As if gathering first-hand comparable data on devices, writing in-depth reviews, producing informative videos and standing up for the consumer wasn't enough work... Now we have to waste time cleaning up these toxic backlinks 🫠

Whoever paid for these links wants Google's automated anti-spam systems to label the page as 'spam' and remove it from the index.

They are linking to our review with words such as 'hacked accounts for sale' and 'download pirated software here' to tarnish the page as pure spam.

These spammy links come out of the weirdest of places...

From a comment in an abandoned blog belonging to the University of Washington, to the 'about me' section of a user profile in a forum for F1 fans.
