An easy way to explain luddites:

when I first played Devil Survivor 2 I just kind of dismissed Yamato as having a typical improbable anime age, but the older I get the more I love how much he is extremely 17. he is ridiculously smart and a prodigy and he also does not have the life experience to understand why his meritocracy sucks

ever since I learned about three-cueing I've developed infinitely more patience for replies on social media. mfers literally do not know how to read. people are walking around conjuring random meanings into words they don't know, and they don't know a lot of words. it's crazy
