『雀とキツツキと山鳩』のエピソードは、柳田國男の『日本の昔話』にも出てきますね。ちなみに柳田版では「スズメはお歯黒の途中で慌てて危篤の親元に駆けつけたので、顔が黒く汚れている」説を掲載している。それにしても市原悦子さんと常田富士男さんの語り、唯一無二の輝き。
