I keep telling myself, grimly, that it's building character, as slabs of snow get yanked off my car by my snow brush and inevitably fall into my boots.

(I actually love winter and snow, but the work parking lot is HELL in winter)

Oh, OUCH. I had a knee replacement surgery a few months ago, and I just cringed away from that picture because that swelling and bruising looked horribly familiar. So if you need an excuse note, feel free to use "it looks like a post-op knee replacement knee right now!"

Interestingly, I've noticed that they most regularly seem to critique the center. I do understand that going at the far right, with their propensity for rage and violence, is intimidating, but it's genuinely upsetting to me to see so much vitriol aimed at allies when enemies are RIGHT THERE.
