The people of Minneapolis are showing breathtaking courage. Facing down armed federal goons to protect their neighbors isn't just brave; it’s legendary.

"President Donald Trump says he is returning education to the states by closing the U.S. Department of Education. What he really means is that he is returning to a time when education was a privilege for some and an afterthought for others."
When States Take Over Education, It Puts Black Children Last in Line, Every Time
Robinson-Celeste: When you strip education from federal protection, you get 50 versions of what a child is worth, set by 50 governors with 50 agendas.

Reminder that Tulsi Gabbard, running for POTUS as a Dem in the 2020 race, sued Hillary Clinton because she implied Gabbard was being groomed by Moscow as a 3rd-party candidate, then soon dropped the suit because, she said, the focus should be on beating Trump, for whom she now works as a Republican.

Martinez: "[I] sat in federal court and watched from 20 feet away as the border patrol agent who attempted to kill me testified at a hearing. Agent Charles Exum—Charles Exum, my attempted executioner was Charles Exum—I hope the government does not consider my use of his name here to be...doxxing."

Three rules in FBI firearm training:

1. Always point your weapon downrange
2. Do not point your weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3. Don’t put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot

Guns are not for threatening compliance for unarmed people doing things you don’t like
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Renee Good's brother: The deep distress our family feels is complicated by disbelief, distress, and desperation for change. Our family took some consolation thinking that Nay's death would bring about change. And it has not. These encounters with federal agents are changing the community forever.

Mike Johnson on Trump calling for Rs to "nationalize" elections: "We had 3 Republicans who were ahead on election day in last cycle & every time a new tranche of ballots came in they just magically whittled away until their leads were lost. It looks on its face to be fraudulent. Can I prove it? No"

Minnesota needs to know the number of children in federal detention, who they are, and where they’re being held.

When it comes to the Trump regime, personnel shifts can calm headlines, but they rarely signal substantive change. Only a change in optics. At the heart of all that “de-escalation” messaging in Minneapolis is a battle for Trump's favor in his mass deportation game.
The War Inside the Department of Homeland Security
In a loss for Kristi Noem, the White House chose institutions over optics—for now. But its policies remain in place.

A sitting governor needs to ask the federal government how many children are being held, where they're being held, and who those children are exactly.

In America.

Let that sink in.

Infuriating.
It does NOT 'look on its face to be fraudulent'.
Not even a little bit.
It's so stupid and brazenly dishonest and corrupt, somebody should just slap his smug little face.

The GOP has been eliminating polling locations and voting machines from Dem-leaning urban precincts lately. The lines there are longer, and naturally the vote-counting process is slower. Yes, there's fraud: Urbanites are getting the shaft, fraudulently.

Gun control could have been sensible. Many just wanted school children to stop being massacred. But 2A enthusiasts instead chose the party threatening jail to anyone who legally carries when they say you can’t.
