I've been watching it for the first time over the past year or so, and I've very much been enjoying it! it's easy enough to relegate to background noise on the less interesting episodes

there a lot of passive aggressive turns of phrase that still on technicality have thinly plausible elements of good faith to them but "friendly reminder" is 100% not one of them

like: what do you mean I'm playing an indie puzzler or a otherwise straightforward cozy resource management game and at the last minute the fate of every townsperson's life is in my hands??? pardon???

for multiple endings to hit, they need to feel earned, and if I had no concept that the game I was playing was a "multiple endings game," then safe to say at least a few of those endings weren't set up
