We should never forget that, or forget that the United States of America and its middle class made us, rather than the other way around. Or we could sit back, do nothing, enjoy our yachts. And wait for the pitchforks. It's utter nonsense. The most insidious thing about trickle-down economics isn't believing that if the rich get richer, it's good for the economy. It's believing that if the poor get richer, it's bad for the economy. Which is why the fundamental law of capitalism must be: If workers have more money, businesses have more customers. Which makes middle-class consumers, not rich businesspeople like us, the true job creators. Which means a thriving middle class is the source of American prosperity, not a consequence of it. The middle class creates us rich people, not the other way around.

Reform UK threw everything it had at this campaign. Busloads of activists came from Kent. Their anti-refugee banners and billboards made local people feel uneasy and sought to pit neighbour against neighbour. Reform thought it could surf a wave of anger and fear, but people in Caerphilly saw through their cynicism. They rejected the idea that Wales should be used as a stepping stone for Farage's next Westminster project. Plaid Cymru's message of hope beat Reform's hate. Where Reform shouted division, we talked about belonging. Where they peddled blame, we talked about community. That matters not just for us in Wales, but for progressives everywhere. The populist right can be beaten when people are offered hope and a vision of a fairer future.

If they paid for their safe return then it would save a lot of hassle on both sides. They would probably not get the full value but might be a lot simpler than trying to realize their value elsewhere. The other theory is that this was the work of an Al startup using the stolen art to train their latest LLM. In which case the authorities wouldn't pursue the mattern any further as Al companies are allowed to steal other people's art

Maybe. I was going to isolate it, take it off and descale it. It ran on hard water for several months but I suspect it needs replacement.

His mentor, Druisán, is an ancient beast master who spoke to him in parables and encouraged him to do annoying stuff like 'learn the hunt without losing the self' and 'listen to the wind in the trees. Brian was irritated that the guy wasn't even a werewolf, not to mention that the term 'beast master' was problematic, though Abe insisted the training would help. After weeks of Druisán pushing Brian to transition at will, he continued to struggle, unable to internalize the lesson. Until one night, Brian was lying in his cot watching RuPaul's Drag Race on his phone when he heard RuPaul say that 'the power we have in drag is available to you when you're not in drag. It was then that it all finally clicked, though when he proved himself to Druisán the next day he failed to mention the source of his newfound enlightenment.

I'm not a technical person but phyphox app from aachen.de accesses your phone sensors to give you nerd stuff. Like I'm on the 45th floor and the elevator goes at nearly 5m/s, 2m/s^2 and hits 150m.

That's pretty cool.
