Honestly one of my biggest peeves with my chronic pain is that rainy weather makes me hurt. It's so stupid. Why did it have to do that to me (*T^T)

The other night I had a doordash driver I regularly chat with bring up how he is tired of constantly doing all this work just to pay bills and barely get by and wishes he didn't have to do it.
The honesty of it shocked me out of my retail service stupor, and I couldn't help but agree with him

The "funny" thing about childhood trauma is how much you don't recognize as trauma until much later. If you recognize it at all, that is. A lot of things are just "that's how life is" while you're growing up.
