2026 - induction
(12/12) These 9 players include some of the biggest legends on the history of the game. Nap, Mays, Banks, Bench, Griffey, Beltre.

There's future legend Arenado, and an all time underrated player in Nettles.

Jones was the only one of these 9 with multiple dWAR Crowns.

(11/12) Andruw Jones, played 1996-2012
Hall of Fame induction likely 2026/27.

I broke chronological order so I could end on Andruw. The greatest defensive outfielder to ever live.

Lead NL in home runs in 2005, and lead in dWAR in 1998, 2000, 2001, and 2002.

(10/12) Day 8: Nolan Arenado, played 2013-Present.

Perhaps the last ever member of the 10 Gold Glove club, and one of the best players of the past decade.

He won Home Run titles in 2015, 16, and 18, and the dWAR title in 2020.

(9/12) Adrian Beltre, played 1998-2018.
Inducted to HOF in 2024

One of the greatest third basemen ever, he excelled defensively and kept hitting well into his late 30s. Another 1st ballot legend.

He lead the NL in HR in 2004, then lead the AL in dWAR in 2008.
November 30, 2025 at 6:25 PM
(8/12) Ken Griffey Jr., played 1989-2010.
Inducted to HOF in 2016

One of the most iconic players in MLB history, Griffey was almost as great defensively as Jones.

He lead the AL in HR in 94, 97, 98, and 99. He lead the AL in dWAR in 96.

(7/12) Graig Nettles, played 1967-88.
Not currently in HOF

65.7 fWAR, 68.0 rWAR, 32.8 WAA, 1981 ALCS MVP, key part of the Bronx Zoo.

After Jones gets in the Hall, I think Nettles will be my next cause.

He lead the AL in HR in 1976, and in dWAR in 1971.

(6/12) Johnny Bench, played 1967-83
Inducted to HOF in 1989

The greatest catcher ever. That's all that needs to be said.

He won the Home Run crown and the dWAR crown in 1972. He also lead in HR in 1970. Both his HR titles came with a MVP award.
November 30, 2025 at 6:22 PM
(5/12) Ernie Banks, played 1953-71
Inducted to HOF 1977

Mr. Cub. Let's Play Two. Back to back MVPs. A legend in every way.

Most people know he lead the league in homers 1958 and 1960. What people don't know is that in between he lead the NL in dWAR in 1959.
November 30, 2025 at 6:21 PM
(4/12) Willie Mays, played 1951-73
Inducted to HOF 1979

It took half a century for someone to join Nap in the club, and Mays more than earned his spot. He lead the NL in HR in 55, 62, 64, and 65, and lead in dWAR in 1954.

Maybe the greatest baseball player ever.
November 30, 2025 at 6:20 PM
(3/12) Day 1: Nap Lajoie, played 1896-1916
Inducted to HOF 1937

Lajoie is a legend, with 3243 hits, 106.9 rWAR, and a 150 OPS+. Cleveland's team was named after him for a reason.

He lead the NL in HR in 1901, and the AL in dWAR in 1907.
November 30, 2025 at 6:19 PM
(2/12) I'd like to start with an honorable mention:

Jimmy Collins, played 1895-1908
Inducted into HOF 1945

Collins did lead the AL in dWAR in 1901 (and the NL in 1899), but his lone HR title came in 1898, so he doesn't count as 1 of the 9.

Still, he's a forgotten great.
