I'm fascinated to see how this soap opera plays put this winter. Those cones cover a small hole in the street. But it takes up about half the street. Clearly, the plow just avoids it but will become a significant issue deeper into winter with more plowing = higher snow wall.

I'll take credit for lack of snowfall. Replaced the drive belt on the snow blower last night around 10 o clock. Had I failed, we would have gotten 10 inches in West Duluth, I'm certain.
