I’m not doing Black Friday this year.
I’d rather be honest with you than try to compete with big brands.
Every purchase genuinely makes a difference to my tiny business.
Shop independent this Christmas.

When Donald couldn't safely mount one of the horses on the royal merry-go-round, Charles gallantly sat with him in the carriage—even though he LOVES to ride the horsey, because it makes him feel like a real king.

This is the same amusement park where little Andrew used to play with his pal Jeffrey.

Word of the day is ‘swullocking’, from 19th-century East Anglian dialect: sultry, sweltering, and sudiferous (sweat-inducing).

Excellent defense politics analysis right here 👇

I don't think any single piece of information has ever radicalised me like reading the statistics on how many women have their husbands/boyfriends dump them because they got a terminal illness diagnosis
Among heterosexual couples over age 50, research finds that divorce rates increase significantly when the wife develops a serious illness but the husband does not; however, no such increase is seen when husbands fall ill but wives do not. www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/soci...
New Research Reveals a Concerning Emerging Divorce Pattern

So, true story here. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer (which metastasized to my brain), I was taken aside during a chemo visit by the social-psychology team. They needed to have a planning session with me in the event my husband left me after my mastectomy. Because it happened ALL the time.
