They could have covered the protests in depth from many different angles. They chose to ignore it, letting their hometown readers down once again

What’s so bananas is that the 7 million people out protesting I assume represent a vast majority of their paying subscribers. How many reminders do we need that @nytimes.com doesn’t see its actual subscribers’ priorities as worth covering
