The two weeks isn't expected to be all traditional work experience as I understand it but earlier exposure to a range of experiences. Yes, school staff accompany groups.

We're the organiser rather than the school. We recently had an entire year group across a couple of weeks in groups of around 10-15 out with a range of employers. I don't think it's likely to be a huge curriculum issue though obviously logistics can be challenging. Learning how to make it work.

Not sure of the original post, but we're organising flash internships- half day experiences with employers for groups of students in y8. It doesn't have to be traditional independent work experience.

This: Critically, the removal of school action did not lead to the rapid improvements in universal provision that the code intended. Instead, it left schools and families turning to EHCPs as the only means of securing support. 🔨

1. Completed my to do list before finishing work
