Love it when I read an article "to make sure the author gets it right" and end up learning something new myself!

Why tf do we need any sort of injunction against behavior everyone knows is already illegal??

But let's make it work for us... no judge has issued an injunction barring people from kicking the president in the nuts, so have at it, folks.

Definitely putting the Luther Insult Generator on my syllabus next semester
Did my duty as #Reformazing lecturer and introduced the First Years to the Luther Insult Generator.

So making sure you remember to get your dose of insults in for the day as well, #Skystorians: ergofabulous.org/luther/

Someone wrote the lyrics to Tyler Childers' song Long Violent History in chalk on my campus.

"It's the worst that it's been since the last time it happened
It's happening again right in front of our eyes
There's updated footage, wild speculation
Tall tales and hearsay and absolute lies"

It would be a shame if all of these concentration camps accidentally burned down before they could be used.
Remarkable: Trump's planned migrant prison camps are hitting deep resistance in red areas. In Virginia's partly rural Hanover (+26 Trump) opposition is intense. GOP leaders in other states are opposed.

Voters are rejecting mass deportations big time. 1/

Trump’s New “Prison Camp” Threat Unleashes Fury Even in MAGA Country
The next phase of ICE’s big ramp-up: a nationwide network of vast detention facilities. But guess what? Even parts of Red America are saying no.

We aren't even close to telling the full history of slavery in the United States but feats of research like this one help tremendously. 🗃️
Some years ago, I was chatting with a Retropolis reader, a young history student, and I mentioned there were several dozen people enslaved in New Jersey up until the day the 13th Amendment kicked in in December 1865.

Y’all. He identified every one of them.

Requiring NDAs is a normal step all legitimate institutions take, especially when they definitely aren't planning to collude with an allegedly co-equal partner to subvert the institution and defeat the very cause that led to its creation in the first place.

Throw away the laws and throw away all our rights, too. Go home, write a letter in praise of the god-emperor, stamp it and beg to live another day. This is your only choice now.
Are we, as a country, throwing away *all* of our laws? What exactly can the rest of get away with, given the blatant lawlessness existing all over the place?
