Admittedly I’ve used V8 as a vegetable soup base on occasion since then. It’s not that bad, it’s just an odd thing to end up with on Thanksgiving 🤣

It's been more than 30 years. My mom died in 2019. I still bring it up because it was a disaster and I'm a Virgo 😂

You'd think they wouldn't repeat this mess every again, right? They did call to verify restaurants were open, but didn't make a reservation. So we had nowhere to eat. Again. We ended up eating Chinese takeout that year. My cousins and I haven't let them plan holiday meals alone again.

But also we had no groceries at my aunt's house so we had to make do with what was there. They ended up making soup with V8 as the base, which wasn't awful but there just wasn't enough of it. Reminded me of that scene in The Birdcage but we had no shrimp either lol. Then Christmas rolls around.

One year when I was a teenager, both my mom and her sister were single moms and didn't want to cook holiday meals for me and my cousins. They envisioned going out to eat somewhere. Great. Thanksgiving rolls around and everywhere is closed, and I do mean everywhere. It was Georgia.

I also love that it gets under the skin of someone I really don't like who has tried to be in competition with me for over 20 years 😂

I wonder if this is a side effect of binge watching instead of weekly releases. It seems like I remember shows I can only watch once a week a lot more.

I went back to school in my 30s to open more opportunities for myself and the moment I graduated I became unemployable. I’m fortunate that I can run my own business but WTAF.
