I think all of these have rulesets that are fairly easy to pick up! Shouldn’t be a hard transition from D&D.

Ooh probably not. It takes a lot of tinkering to get right, I think. (this coming from someone who loves it) If you want something similar that’s easier to pick up, Tangled Blessings is really good! That game is pretty much just journaling, though. Do you want something with more gameplay?
