Spanish manufacturer @talgo.com wins a major contract in Germany to supply 30 Talgo 230 trains, with an option for 35 more, to the low-cost operator FlixTrain. Siemens Vectron locomotives will provide traction.
FlixTrain buys up to 65 trains from Talgo for 2.4 billion
They will be similar to the ICE-Ls acquired by rival Deutsche Bahn.
