Yeah, it was all already copied off to migrate to a different Linux box anyway, so the Pi is just getting reset and repurposed. Might try Batocera on it.

Yeah I'd just left the microSD card in there; it was only used for initial setup and the Pi has since booted from a USB->SATA adapter off of an SSD. Smart me would have removed the microSD after that and saved the hassle.
No data lost, just lost use of the card. So it goes.

Fortunately those kinds of microSD cards are cheap these days, and there was no important data on it, so nothing of major concern lost. Just thought I'd have it on hand for immediate re-purposing.
