Yes I priced stuff out against Costco. I’m as annoyed as you are that the Good and Gather green beans are cheaper with the 5% off/get $20 off $125 purchase. But you know what? I don’t think Big Red’s profits are hinging on pantry staples, so we’re good.

i live in a dang hill (one of the highest in the city) and I STILL got so freaked out by hurricane footage that I went and put an axe up there just in case. 🤷🏼‍♀️ look, it made me feel better and didn’t cost a lot. plus now i have an axe to get into the garage with if the power goes out! 🙃

oh hey we made an 18x24 “IS THIS YOUR BOY?” poster of him and put it in mom’s yard. his fam’s neighbor was out walking and saw it, she made a call and his mom was over here within minutes.
turns out he’s an 18.5 year old man named RUDY and everyone is v happy to have him back where he belongs. 💜

We got full body x-rays and a blood panel and this lucky boy is SOMEHOW free from obvious injury or abnormal labs. They’re pretty sure he got clipped by a car based on a bloody nose and some eye weirdness but we’re comfortably releasing him back to me for observation. 🎉🎉
