NHL player safety is laughable. Just so horned up to suspend any leaf who does anything.

Love to listen to Craig Simpson say that it’s a failure of the leafs to expect the rules to be called by the book and that it’s actually their own fault that the ref is essentially looking to make a make up call on them.

Overly pedantic thing that probably only bothers me: baseball execs meeting for something called “winter meetings” when seasonally it is still autumn and winter doesn’t technically start for 2 more weeks.

Can’t shake the feeling that all this Matthews injury vagueness the last couple seasons is him just hanging on and pushing through to play in the Olympics and the second it’s over he’s going to have some sort of surgery that will keep him out for over a year.

leafs need to go 35-20-5 in their last 60 games just to reach the 96 point mark, the historical cutoff to make the playoffs. I really don’t see that happening the way this team has played & given the amount of injuries they’ve sustained. At this point they should be selling off assets & retooling
