As a yub nub enjoyer, have to disagree.

The ending also made sense at the time. Coruscant was not a big deal yet in the Star Wars universe in the 80s other than being name checked a couple of times. As a kid I just wanted to see the Ewoks rock out and have a party

In my experience it’s a lot of young people and a lot of boomers using ChatGPT for nearly everything, and most ai skeptics I know are in their 30s-40s.

Don’t want to end up having visions like T Marsh’s

I’m pretty firmly analogue about prayer / liturgy / spiritual reading even though I know intellectually it’s fine to use devices, so I’ve never wanted anything like Hallow personally

This was during a period when I was struggling with scruples and would sometimes go to confession twice in a day because I was afraid I messed something up, so I had to get official permission

I dunno, seemed weird to ask someone to install an app.

Not as bad as when I was given a penance in the early 2000s to pray that “we wipe out all of the terrorists in the Middle East”. I went to a second priest and asked if I could pray for peace as an alternative

I would have been fine with it if he had given the penance as “say night prayer for a couple of days. You can find it on XYZ websites or apps such as Hallow”

I do remember he wanted me to look up the app on my phone while in the confessional and I informed him that I always turn off my phone before going to confession

I’m pretty sure you can’t do that. Anyway, he said to download Hallow and do night prayer for a couple of days so I did night prayer for a couple of days without using the app.
