Former journalist from Finland that turned to Bluesky for Arsenal content when the little bluebird went crosseyed. Mostly a lurker, occasional reposter and commenter.
Took me a while to realize you didn't talk about a player called Fancy Jesus.

They didn't break themselves. But they didn't win either.
... and KuPS got through to the play off stage on that result. Pretty impressive for a Finnish side playing in off season.

KuPS had a third goal flagged for offside before taking an unfortunate but stupid red card. 2-2 now. Not many first team players on the field for CP, and the few that got subbed on (Guehi, Mateta, Nketiah, Hughes, Mitchell) won't have to break themselves for a win. Not ideal for Arsenal that.

I mean, the result is in the picture (top left), and the article starts with the sentence "Noni Madueke". Even without understanding Flemmisch you can see that Arsenal is quite present in the text. But it naturally focuses on Brügge.

The difference here is that Salah is the biggest player ever in the Arabic world. Still, PIF probably can afford to push the price down quite a bit because of the circumstances.

I was just thinking that I've missed him. Timber might be better, but I really enjoy watching Benny Blanco play football.

Well yes. Otherwise we couldn't play like we do.

Beeches would indeed indicate Edulis. Reticulatus can be found with oak or hazel, at least here in the Nordics. This might just be an unusually lightly colored Edulis, then.

There might be a difference in France, because of different host trees(?), but this looks more like a Boletus Reticulatus to me. Edulis is normally darker up here. They taste the same, though.

It is probably moose, since elk is native to North America. We have a lot of moose here in the north, though. The meat is tasty enough. A bit dry if you overcook it 😁

...and, unfortunately, the second season was utterly shite 😢

A few years ago I actually pondered getting a "The Smith 10" shirt. Was sad to see him go. Happy he's doing some good deeds at Fulham, though.

Articulate and answers that were well thought through! Well done! Can't say the same for the "Arteta has to win"/"Arsenal definitely not favourites" brigade you had the discussion with, though.

Although I'm very unfamiliar with feet and inches myself (being a Finn), I know that 180 cm is around 5'11 simply because that is my own height. But you might have gone wrong assuming the American system goes by decimals. There's 12 inches to one foot. For some unexplicable reason.

180 is ~5'11, so closer to that.
