Wrapping up November with a flashback to childhood! I lost these somewhere in the process of many moves, and childhood purges, but ebay came to the rescue! I have four more to go, including Bunnicula returns which I have not yet read! 📚💙📚💙

Garden today! @snellis.bsky.social got the raised beds housing the plants for the hell bed replanting covered, the witch hazel has begun to bloom, and smells fantastic, and another camellia has joined the bloom party!

Last (planned) book! Living Things, by Munir Hachemi translated by Julia Sanches. 💙📚 After this I plan on revisiting my childhood through the Bunnicula books and then starting my poisoned pen Christmas Mysteries from the British Crime Library!

A Palace Near the Wind, by Ai Jiang is up next! My last true novella for the month. I got totally sucked into this one and was about halfway through before I was able to tear myself away to the three hundred bulbs that needing potting up today! 💙📚

Cut back hydrangeas today to prep for winter. While paniculatas can be pruned in spring (they bloom on new wood) I do an initial cut back in fall to stop branches from snapping under the weight of winter wet.
