KNX is a "24/7" operation but if an earthquake happens at 2:00 am, some homes are going to be crushed by a landslide, or a gunman is out on the loose, someone 350 miles away will still be reading the news until they can patch someone in to interrupt.

I personally like serifs and think they improve legibility on the printed page, but on screen they are kind of a wash.

These also are not marginal rates, meaning that a single family homeowner who puts up an ADU gets bumped into the next bracket and has to pay the higher rate on everything. That was one of the killers with Measure ULA in Los Angeles, that the threshold was not marginal.

The people who are too cheap to pay for lot parking, but also too cheap to properly register their vehicle to their residence to qualify for the street parking. Using the ubiquitous Flocks and sending it to insurance companies would be a huge privacy invasion, but would also cut this enormously.

The ABC article said they get $200 a month, but allegedly only temporary. I would be fine with making it a permanent rent reset of the base rate
