The city ordinance is that all buildings over 50 years old which are going to get demolition permits need to go to historic preservation commission. So lots of stuff now gets routed the HPC.

It is a 1920 building apparently. So by their own rules it would need a historic determination by the historic preservation commission since it’s over 50 years old.

It says "as permissible by law" and it's my understanding that state law doesn't state that owning a car is an evictable offense, so it is moot.

So the Estonians give the Swedish the same tuition and vice versa? The language barrier seems to be a natural way to restrict interregional movement, and I doubt you have the phenomenon of people from the northeast, for instance, flooding into Alabama and Florida.

I regret to inform that this has come up again, with both the mayor and a different councilmember appealing the project. The mayor's appeal seems to be pro forma, but the councilmember appeal is literally about people parking next to the school and walking home. pomona.legistar.com/LegislationD...
