The feminist retelling resonates deeply, and it’s a pointed critique on the harm religion can do and what we lose when disinformation masquerading as truth (and power masquerading as morality) takes the place of actual historical truths and genuine morality. An eerily relevant message for our time.

In 2024 I kept it short, sweet, and to the point (pun intended) and highlighted TWO of my favorite things (in no particular order): #horror movies AND BOOKS!

While adaptions can be controversial (don't ask me abt #TheShining), this #31DaysofHorror list was one for the books. #horrorsky

2023's #31DaysofHorror theme was born of circumstance and a series of coincidences so spooky they raised the dead... and one of the oldest monsters in #horror: VAMPIRES. #CreatureFeature

Welcome to 2022 and one of my absolute favorite #31DaysofHorror themes of all time: WOMEN MAKE HORROR.

Inspired by a book of the same name (Alison Peirse), this is a a tribute to the BTS #ScreamQueens of the #horror genre - from writers and directors to art and photography. #HorrorCommunity

The year is 2021 and the #31DaysofHorror theme is? NO Theme Halloween.

Why? "Because this year has me tired as Nancy at the end of a Freddy movie, and much like the protagonists in these horror films–I am just out here trying to survive!"

When life's a #horrorshow, count on the spooky classics.

It's 2020 & thanks to YouKnowWhat I have time to (take what'd previously been haphazard scribbles on a torn piece of notebook paper) formally chronical & share my #31DaysofHorror list online for the first time.

A year of firsts had a fitting theme: #Horror Movies I've Never Seen (+Bonus Lists) 👻
