The only way Republicans have even a remote chance of winning in November is if they distract and gin up false outrage about cultural issues

Like Bad Bunny's halftime performance

This is their playbook. It's all they got

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

The First Minister has just made an urgent statement on this violation of our sovereignty.

I have rarely been so disappointed by every other party, the government included. It's like they all think Trump is watching and they are terrified of upsetting him. A total failure to stand up for Scotland.
It very much looks like the US Government has just abducted two people from Scotland hours after our Court of Session ordered that they not be removed.

The US is a rogue state. It's time to evict their troops from their de-facto base at (publicly owned) Prestwick airport.

Ian Austin, an Army veteran, was arrested for protesting ICE in Minneapolis. But he’s continued protesting. Senior reporter @julialurie.bsky.social spoke to him.

“When they say, ‘Why would you be out here?’ How the fuck could I not be out here?” he says. “My nation is under attack."

During the George Floyd protests, Pierre , SD had a small protest. Noem called out the National Guard and had snipers on the rooftops of government buildings. The small group of protesters marched on the public sidewalks in front of the Capitol building.

None of what Noem does surprises me.

A major newspaper publishing guide to help people identify the munitions their government is using against them is a real "Late Republic America" timepeice that future historians will comment on.
Here's how to identify some crowd control munitions, canisters of which federal agents have left on the ground after deploying them against people in Minnesota. bit.ly/3YWp1jE

We are not the first people, or the first country, to suffer under a tyrannical government that does not respect our lives, or our rights.

There is a method for how to effectively resist, and eventually topple, such a regime. We can learn from others who came before us.

This is my favorite guide.

The letter from Bill and Hillary Clinton to James Comer explaining their refusal to testify in his Epstein investigation is really remarkable, not like any letter of this genre I've seen. It's signed by them, not a lawyer, and the arguments are not legal ones. Reprinted from their X account:
