I've been thinking about trying a new name as I don't have much attachment to my birth name so I'd like to try going by Raen (rain) or Rae (ray). I don't really have a story with the choice - I just like how they both sound. Change always makes me nervous so it will take some getting used to lol 😅

I'm so tired of anime gacha games. I always start thinking the characters look interesting and then it isn't a single player game and I deflate immediately 😮💨
I have no interest/patience in microtransactions (there are rare exceptions) that just constantly want you to buy the next shiny character

I say all this but my ass will still probably get on for festival event stuff at least. And who knows, maybe the elder dragon fight too.
My concern is that we will NEED to have artian weapons as the game goes on as someone who doesn't have time for that shit.

I was excited about an elder dragon coming to MHWilds but I hate the artian weapons - I'd rather have cool weapons made directly from monsters. I also think it would be more enjoyable to have people to play with but the PC issues really need to be addressed before anyone I know would try it again.
