The software we use to track people's lab results adjusts the y scale to the values of the patient.
So if a patients' eGFR (which is calculated between 0 and 90) runs between 30 and 35 the scale is 30-35 and any (clinically insignificant) change within that looks huge.
Can be hard to explain.
