I miss my guitar. I miss playing guitar. My fingers lost the hardness now for decades. I've had 3 acoustic guitars broken my entire life, & my only electric guitar is in the province home and I can't find the time to visit my old room to check and bring some of my stuff in my current city home.

Surprised I found 3 dead tiny rats within a week after getting the 'edible' rat killer. But never found again the big one that chewed our Tupperwares.
Some pesky rat gnawed our Tupperware, chewed the creamer pack and left a mess around that needed cleaning. This is war.

きにしてアニメ。静岡には面白いアニメがまた一つ。静岡にはまだ行ったことのないアニメ聖地がたくさんある。日本に帰ったら、静岡を訪れる計画を立て始めた方がいいかもしれない。

Saw a lot of posts remembering the Noto Earthquake 2 years ago, and some articles shared photos of Mitsukejima. I remember I took a lot of photos of Mitsukejima & the view park last October. Seeing the island covered with snow and thought it looked like the strawberry croissant I bought last Tuesday

@gailsimone.bsky.social 's comics are always rare to get here in Asia. Finally got lucky I found & bought the lone Gail's Uncanny X-Men Vol. 3 TPB (but didn't get lucky to find vol. 2 after looking for months 🙁). I hope I'll enjoy Vol. 3 w/o having to recap Vol. 2.

Feeling contrived celebrating Christmas today. This time it's lonelier since mom is gone. It's different than when I've spent the occasion from a non-celebrating country of Qatar. I am home, in my family house, with only me residing alone. Don't know if I need to be festive or not. Mixed thoughts.

Whoosh. Finished the Christmas tree setup just now @5pm Christmas Eve. Didn't put the lot of ribbons & other colorful decors from the boxes in the attic that mom used to put. I'm still not sure what goes on in a mother's mind to have the patience to fancy a Christmas tree. Heavy heart setting up. 😢🌲

I think I have never experienced office Christmas parties or year-end parties my entire life. Specially when my (former) surrounding Arab and Indian colleagues don't celebrate them.

北川圭子さんが実写セーラームーンと解離する理由は、基本的に彼女がその後に多くのドラマのオーディションに負けたと言ったからだと思います。 特殊効果シリーズの主役であることは、俳優がドラマや映画を手に入れることの「呪い」であることを覚えていると思います。 ほとんどの俳優は、特殊効果の後にドラマや映画の役割をほとんどまたはまったく持っていません。佐藤健、齋藤智裕、小田切ジョー、吉沢亮、土屋太鳳など、特撮俳優の中で特撮の呪いから抜け出せた人はほんの一握りだ。
このパターンは以前から気になっていたのですが、女優さんには今でもよく見られる現象だと思います。北川景子さんは今でも「セーラーマーズ」との繋がりを避けているようで、メディアやテレビ番組でキャラ名の使用が許可されていない限り、名前を口にしたり、自身を「セーラーマーズ」と結びつけたりすることさえ避けています。しかし、「Reiko レイ子」という名前は今でも認められています。所属事務所のスターダストプロモーションなのか東映なのかは分かりませんが、2004年の実写版セーラームーン「SPECIAL ACT」ビデオで景子ちゃんがマーズコスチュームを着なくなった頃から、この傾向は続いていますね。
