I've tried not to moan on about Brexit since 2020 since it's done and nothing we can do, but bloody hell does it seem a more idiotic idea now than it ever did.

Europe really needs to hold itself closer together more than ever in the face of a deranged, unpredictable United States.

News that the government has approved funding for the project is a big boost to our area.

Finally, even though I have no brief to speak for this government (and we disagree on lots of things), it’s important to give credit where it is due: Ministers have made the right decision.

Sireena was one of the participants in the Outsiders project, introduced to us by Shelter. You can read her story in the book and the exhibition. The council refused to act on the mould until my photos from the project appeared in the Daily Mirror and went viral. Within a few weeks she was rehoused.
'Having a safe home has made it possible for me to focus on my future again.'

After 4 years enduring bad conditions while homeless in temporary and emergency accommodation, Ethan was finally given a home that was suitable for him and his mother Sireena.

I was homeless but council left me in a cockroach-infected bedroom with teen son
WHEN Sireena went to the council for housing support for herself and 11 year old son, she assumed services would help her get on her feet. But the now 41-year-old and her son Ethan, were left livin…

Good morning @hedgehoglet.bsky.social & thank you. Yes, many art critics of the day mentioned that the Group's work had a "Sunday morning" feel to it, because of the lack of human interest. Here are a watercolour of "Mile End Road" by Elwin Hawthorne & a photo of the scene from his archives in 1930
