Abusive relationships, totalitarian states, cults, capitalism, the structure of education, corporations, the worship of youth and beauty, gender roles, most institutions, such as prisons, schools, hospitals - all of these are power structures, which take the form of endogroups.

Traditionally a cult had a very different meaning which is why it shares a root with the word culture. but with the word cult the way it is used today, yes, that’s a specific type of endogroup. The same structure can scale all the way down to two people or all the way up to the world.

The best way to block this is to stop the initial identification and guilt transfer that creates a negative image. The identification in the US has been accelerating for decades. Complete impunity for crimes at the top has also been increasing for decades.

In times when endogroups are strengthening because the endo-ideal wants to accrue power, persecution of the negative image increases. The dominant endo idealisms in the US - citizenship, wealth, health, industrial, white, male, etc., each have their own negative image and they will all be targeted.

More of a tactic of anyone who wants to establish a dominant relationship, whether that is between two people or at a state or global level. The tactics and roles remain the same - it just scales up. The ‘con’ Is getting everyone to accept the shared group endoreality.

From two angles, yes. Nearly every working environment is an endogroup which is exhausting and draining for the negative image -employees. In Abstracting Divinity I talk about it much more specifically, what is happening at the level of interactions and how to block those interactions and replenish.
