I have to think this might be true in this instance. I worked in the public service as a Research Librarian, then later as a Communications Manager and there were some seriously skilled and professional people working in those sectors (and you needed the qualifications to prove it too)

Vikki is certainly bottom of the barrel stuff. I’m amazed that she got a job as a Communications person in the public service (at Parliament House no less). Usually those people are highly skilled

Indeed. At an election night get together inner city Melbourne voters told friends that they’d switched to Labor because the Greens Party at the time lacked the leadership to negotiate, an essential skill needed to navigate a democracy. Unlike the Liberals, Greens politicians can learn from defeat.

More to this story than you say. It was clear they didn’t have the numbers at that time. And Payman decided to vote against it to top it off. It was doomed

What a difference with women in charge of the Greens.
They listened and engaged in constructive dialogue for the best outcomes for Australia .
So many male combative politicians who just want to fight and yell over each other . . Over 90% of those who are kicked out in QT are men .

Yes, this is what we voted for. A clear party of Govt, that nonetheless needs to negotiate more broadly. Thanks #GreensAU for being prepared (and competent) to negotiate.
