Going to do my #biggardenbirdwatch later today but was just having a cuppa & watching them anyway, as you do, when a pair of Redwing - I think? - landed in the tree. Have never seen them before! One flew off pretty quickly but this guy stayed for photos. @rspb.bsky.social

Scrapping BNG wouldn’t just harm wildlife.
It would hit communities too. It puts jobs, investment, green spaces, clean water, healthy soils & local resilience at risk.

This could be the game changer info from this ep of #Gardenersworld. My new garden is FULL of bindweed. It's heavy clay in poor condition & I need to get some life back into it, so this gives me hope that I can win the battle!
