I have revamped the course shell for my college writing 1 class. The supposedly pilot program that was never evaluated and just rolled into being how it was taught is not my thing. Journaling was a slog for me and the students. GONE! I hope they appreciate the hours of redoing a canvas course. ;)

The new semester is split into my MW class on Protest Literature (good days) and the TR mix of Comp and a small untalkative lit course (slog). I'm really hoping things even out so the roller coaster of emotional drain isn't too bad. Teaching is performance and it is difficult some days.

Yeah okay, abolish ICE or whatever OR
Eliminate the Department of Homeland Security altogether. Move TSA back to Transportation and restore FEMA as an independent agency. Sort the other half-dozen component agencies back into their natural homes.
Less criminal abuse and around $40 billion savings.
