God of money doesn’t care

I’m a publisher www.hayloft.eu & always meet authors or speak to them on phone/email for several months before book is published. Once an AI company stole part of one of our books -for a small company to sue/get justice from huge publishing consortium is virtually impossible.

There should be a note on cover that the author is a real person. I don’t want to know how a machine is feeling or what they are thinking. We could lose a future Dickens, Eyre or Tolstoy.

I was worried at the time that someone would pull ladder up & abandon me. In cross section it was bell-shaped so would have been v difficult to climb out!

It was an old farm - one well by door, one by vegetable garden & another, much larger up field for animals. Went down ladder to clean it out - absolutely covered in mud by time I’d finished but found few treasures.
