Kirstie Allsopp, a successful wowam from a very wealthy background thinks it's wrong to pay stamp duty, even £1M+ houses, even for people owning more than one property.
I wonder why?
She also thinks it's wrong for some pensioners to have a free bus pass.
Who is bankrupting the country?
Hmmmmmmmmm.

BBC has a case against Trump. WhiteHouse Chief Press Officer called the BBC ‘100% fake news.’ Which is defamatory and untrue.

Why the BBC should not counter-claim against Trump, whatever he calls them, unless as a last resort.
A counter-claim here would be a last resort. The objective should be to extract BBC from litigation, not tie it in more messily and expensively.

A counterclaim would give Trump all the rights of a defendant as well as a plaintiff.

Would be a nightmare, given his litigation game playing.

Count the ways they’re corrupting DOJ: Presidents don’t direct AG’s to open criminal cases, especially ones designating only Dems for investigation when POTUS himself is involved. DOJ doesn’t publicize criminal investigations & the AG definitely doesn’t assign them on Twitter.

In case it’s not obvious, Trump’s attorney general has, at his personal request, started an investigation into the Democrats and Dem allies mentioned in the documents released this week. But no-one else!
Genuinely think this might be the first real test of the limits of Trump’s brazenness this term. This shouldn’t make Dems back down – there’s no-one in there they feel obliged to defend (nor should they). So it’s just gonna draw more attention to Trump’s own role. www.nytimes.com/live/2025/11...
