Its also been nice to have more understanding and context to the world building while seeing main story events again. To the point that im noticing certian details thats completely changing some of my theories. I think the expansion is gonna surprise a lot of folks. Can't fool me Capcom >,>

Not sure how to put without sounding negative lol. I mostly mean existing universes. SE clearly has certain favourites and its giving them a lot of attention. Id just much rather have a new FF every 4-5 years and within reasonable budgets than see more of 7 thats all.

My stance on it is complex. I dont fall in the same camps as jaded older fans and neither do i relate to new gen. I just miss when they focused on making new and interesting worlds instead milking existing ones. I'm like in this weird spot on sidelines looking over my shoulders every now and then.

No the exact opposite now 😭 I hard cut off after i stopped vibing with the game. Also very much against some of the practises of Mihoyo so i actively avoid that stuff. Its why i hate seeing Genshin on my most played, a grim reminder lool.

I really hope they dont pull punches with DQ12. Could be generational game if all cards fall in place. But if they play it safe its gonna be really underwhelming.
