The censorship of 80+ games on Steam this week was apparently the work of Australian antiporn group Collective Shout, which partnered with US evangelicals to pressure Visa and Mastercard.
They claimed, without evidence, that the games involved child abuse.

Something we don't talk about enough is the extent to which these payment processors monopolize every financial transaction we make electronically. There is no longer such a thing as making a payment without involving them, which means they have immeasurable power over the entire economy.
And for those of you wondering how this may apply to you: If you create media for adults, or do any sort of work for the queer community, this could potentially affect you as well. You might not consider yourself a sex worker, but a lot of religionists sure think you are. Please, sign this petition.

Collective Shout, the group that took credit for bullying Mastercard into recently censoring more platforms, stated that apparently it took them ~1000 phonecalls to convince them to give them what they wanted?

I said this in a reply and i do intend on sending out an email but! I'm going to try and host a jam for the bundle to see if that works better than how I was going about it before. My problem was being unable to get an even split (some people were getting 0% of the profits). Sorry for the trouble!

Hey everyone! Update on the bundle: ive emailed support about it but i need to email again as i havent gotten a response. I'm having trouble making the payments even (which to be fair i was totally warned about 😭 but i thought 150 would be an evenly splitable number which it seems it is not)
